Review by hotel critic
During our recent family vacation at Chambre D'Hôtes, we enjoyed a good stay that catered perfectly to our needs. Nestled in a charming 200-year-old hotel, we found it ideally located for exploring the region-just 11 minutes from Cahors and 22 minutes to picturesque St Cirq La-Popie. As a travel writer with a penchant for family-friendly experiences, I appreciated the modern comforts within the historic ambiance. The newly renovated bathrooms were a welcome surprise, and our little one settled in comfortably. Mornings began with a pleasant continental breakfast, which allowed for a relaxing start to our day. One evening, we opted for the dinner option, alleviating any travel stress. This was a smart choice, especially with a child under 5-it meant we didn't have to return from our adventures after dark. Ulrike, our charming host, made us feel right at home and shared intriguing stories about the hotel's history. As we explored the nearby breweries, we found a cute atmosphere perfect for families.
